Frymaster High Efficiency Electric Fryer (BIRE55)

The BIRE14 electric fryer systems for McDonald’s are enhanced for industry leading efficiency, convenience and serviceability. They are the ultimate in high performance electric frying.



The BIRE14 fryers have a minimum 40- lb. (20 liter*) and maximum 50-lb. (25 liter*) oil capacity. The frying area is 14” x 15.50” (356 x 394 mm). Solid-state controls assure pinpoint accuracy of oil temperature, extending oil life and producing a uniformly-cooked product. The temperature sensor mounted on the elements permits rapid response to loads and have low watt density for increased reliability and extended life.



Frymaster’s proprietary, self standing, swing-up, ribbon-designed elements provide the best possible efficiency in transferring heat. They swing up to expose the open frypot, allowing every inch of the frypot to be cleaned and wiped down by hand. The deep cold zone catches crumbs and sediment from the frying area. These particles are trapped in the cold zone where they do not carbonize, contaminate oil or cling to fried foods.



Frymaster’s renowned, patented builtin FootPrint PRO Filtration System puts filtration where it’s most convenient to use -- right within the fryer battery -- eliminating the need for additional floor and storage space.



The filtering process is fast and easy, encouraging daily filtering -- a critical part of maximizing oil life, especially with trans fat-free oils. It is also sequential, so one fryer may be filtered while the others are still in use.



This system is enhanced with a rear flush feature and efficient gravity drainage that flushes sediment and allows residual oil to drain quickly into the filter pan leaving drain lines open, free of residual sediment and oil. The filter, housed beneath two FootPrint PRO-ready electric fryers is capable of filtering up to six fryers, individually, without having to be moved from fryer to fryer, saving valuable labor.
